Cool Treats, Warm Hearts

Sunday, November 8 • Following service and lunch
Leader: Leslie Staring

Join our children and their parents for lunch at McAlister’s after church, then head into a nearby neighborhood to share coupons for free Wendy’s Frostys! We’ll spread kindness and help our children discover the joy of showing others the love of Jesus. Everyone is welcome—bring the family, bring a friend, and let’s warm some hearts with a cool treat!

LOADS OF LOVE
Date, time, and leader: TBD
Help cover washing and drying costs for neighbors at a local laundromat. We’ll share kindness, start conversations, and offer prayer to anyone who welcomes it.

PHARMASEE JESUS
Date and time: TBD | Leader: Michael Goss
Offer smiles, encouragement, and prayer to people picking up prescriptions at a local pharmacy. Without offering medical advice or asking about private circumstances, we’ll remind people they are loved, seen, and not alone.

WOOD YOU; WOOD YOU NOT?
Saturday, November 14 | 1 p.m.
Leader: TBD
Help deliver donated firewood to neighbors who need help staying warm. Thanks to Mr. Christmas for the generous supply! Let’s share this blessing and show our community we care.

FOLK FESTIVAL PRAYER WALK
Saturday, November 14 | 1 p.m.
Leader: Leslie Staring
Join us at the National Folk Festival in Jackson to walk, engage respectfully, and pray for the people and cultures represented. Missions doesn’t always require a passport—sometimes it’s just a short drive away!

WHAT IS YOUR NAME?
Saturday, November 14 | 1 p.m.
Leader: Kristin Marren
Share snack bags with neighbors experiencing homelessness while learning their names, listening to their stories, and offering prayer. Every person is more than their circumstances—seen, known, and deeply loved by God.

SNEAKER CELEBRATION
Monday, November 16 | 9:15–10:15 a.m.
Leader: Michael Goss
Celebrate the Silver Sneakers participants who gather on our campus to stay active and connected. Welcome them with applause, high-fives, encouragement, and cold water!
